Specsavers Surrey Youth Games are evolving...

Following a review of the format of the event, the Surrey Youth Games as a large-scale, single-day competition will not take place in 2025.

Tailored initiatives, such as neighbourhood community games and bursary support, provide families with access to localised taster sessions and training across a range of activities.

Delivered within different boroughs and districts, these opportunities encourage participation, foster skill development, and build confidence for beginners aged 7–16, ideally establishing local pathways that sustain participation beyond the funding period.

Surrey County Councils and its partners remain committed to providing opportunities for young people to engage in sport and physical activity.
